Candidate Training Conference

The Candidate Training Conferences (CTC) are for Key Club Members who are interested in being a candidate or a potential candidate for an office above the club level. It is now mandatory to attend the Candidate Training Conference to run for an office above the office of Lt. Governor. It is not necessary to attend the Candidate Training conference to be able to run for the office of Lt. Governor. For Lieutenant Governors

Are you interested in being a Lt. Governor? Then the Candidate Training Conference for Lt. Governors is the one for you. Learn from current Lt. Governors what it takes to be one, and how to run for the position. Ask those that are currently doing the job what it is like before you decide if it is for you. This year, the Candidate Training Conference will be administered at 8 difference locations: Sacramento, Rancho Cucamonga, Sunnyvale, Burbank, Vista, Las Vegas, Fullerton, and Hawaii.

Most Training Conferences will take place on November 16, 2019. 
Individual Training Conference times will vary within the time span of 9AM to 5PM.
Individual Training Conferences may collect a nominal fee to cover training materials or food.

The annual Lt. Governor Candidate Training Conference is held to provide perspective candidates with information to learn more about the position, duties and responsibilities of being a CNH Lt. Governor; to understand the district policy regarding the election process; and to receive tips and strategies for a successful campaign and year as Lt. Governor.

For District and International

Key Club members interested in being a candidate for a District Officer Position (Governor, Secretary, or Treasurer) must attend the Candidate Training Conference (CTC). Potential Candidates/Participants from Hawaii will need to contact the District Administrator directly; please copy your Region Advisor. If you are interested in an International position, there will be a webinar that you can attend to help you understand what the position(s) entail.
